I was born in the winter of 1995,in a little town in California named Madera, right outside of Fresno. I graduated from Madera HIgh School, as did my parents and their parents before them. To escape what was considered an, "inescapebple" little town I moved to the Los Angeles Area when I was 18, and began attending Pasadena City College
It wasn't until I moved out of Madera, to Los Angeles that I became more aware of just how diverse California, and the U.S. was. What I also became painfully aware of was that prejudice and racism were still very much alive today. Taking mostly Social science courses at Pasadena City College, I dived head first of what may be a my life's focus, Or at least an aspiration, writing. During my first year at Pasasdena CIty College I took two very different and challenging class, The history of Asian Pacific Americans, and The Traditional HIstory of Modern Africa. Both courses were taught by teachers passionate about there studies, (and of the race they taught), opened my eyes to cultures I had never been taught to see.
I started this site as a test to myself, my abilities, and my dedication to exposing something hidden, properly and without bias (and of course as a class project).
